Still deciding?
Try the DEMO! It has the full tutorial, 2 maps (Oval and Le Mans), and the Porsche 911. It does not have the GHOST or the ability to race more than one lap at a time. It is more to test and see the visuals and controls on your device.
Accessibility
Funny Racer can be controlled with both the D-Pad and/or the crank, offering flexibility for different playstyles. Some functions require the use of the D-Pad. By default, B accelerates, and A brakes; this can be switched in settings, but non-racing controls are not affected.
A high level of precision with the D-Pad and/or the CRANK is required for racing.
The B button (or A depending on choice) can be held down for the entire game but this can be changed in settings by switching to automatic acceleration.
Some menus require you to hold a button for certain actions.
The tutorial is skippable in parts and in whole.
Controls
Menu:
Use UP and DOWN or LEFT and RIGHT or the CRANK to select the different options. For Tracks and Laps, Times, Settings, Cars, and Start you can press A to enter that sub-menu or change the value. At any time while on the main menu, you can press B to start the game with the selected settings!
To select your controls simply extend or stow the CRANK.
Timing Page:
Press B to go back and hold A to reset ALL times. Use UP, DOWN, and/or the CRANK to scroll up and down.
Settings Page:
Press LEFT to select the ghost mode. Press RIGHT to select what button scheme you want. Press up to redo the tutorial. Use the CRANK to scroll to the credits.
Cars Page:
Press LEFT and RIGHT to cycle between the cars. Press A to select the car you want. Press B to go back.
Game:
Controls depend on what you have selected.
- Default:
- Use the CRANK to turn the car. The angle of the car is aligned to the crank's angle. Use B to accelerate and A to break.
- From the main menu:
- You can choose to steer with either LEFT and RIGHT or CRANK.
- In settings:
- You can also choose to have A accelerate and B break or to have UP accelerate and DOWN break.
- You can also decide if you want auto acceleration. If you do the car will by default be accelerating simply press any button other than LEFT or RIGHT to break.
Can't unlock a car?
Racing is hard. The times are not meant to be easy. That being said they are possible. All the times are about 0.3 sec slower than my PBs (which are far from perfect). They were all set with the 911 and CRANK.
Hints:
- The CRANK automatically "breaks" for you so don't break on the corners when using the CRANK.
- The d-pad is the fastest way to drive on tracks with large corners if you know how/when to break and not.
- The CRANK is fastest on tracks with tight corners.
- The cars locked behind a 3-lap time are faster than the other cars.

Really love this one, controlling the car with the crank feels great and responsive. Definitely worth the purchase!
Edit: I can't believe I just figured out the 10-lap mode times count towards the best lap times, would've made unlocking the cars easier haha!
dommage qu'on ne puisse pas courir contre des autres voitures.
100%! I am thinking about a few things to come in the future but am on a small break from development.
Ça semble super fun à jouer. L'ovale fonctionne, mais sur le menu de sélection de Le Mans la console crash à chaque fois.
Hi! Thank you so much for reporting this. I just fixed it and the DEMO should work now!
